Timmy Khalifa (Cairo, 1995) is a Brooklyn-based architect, researcher, and educator. He currently works at AESuperlab and teaches as an adjunct lecturer at the New York City College of Technology.

Timmy has contributed to projects across a wide range of typologies and scales. His experience includes major public works such as The Kitchen and the Nuyorican Poets Cafe, award winning office and restaurant projects, large scale master planning projects; and the development of research-driven affordable housing prototypes. Timmy has a B.Arch. degree with a minor in social and political history from Carnegie Mellon University. 

He is a founding member of Friends of Fort Defiance, a grassroots organization co-creating nature-based solutions rooted in Red Hook’s ecological, industrial, and revolutionary histories. Timmy is also the co-founder of Fort Greene Runners and enjoys running marathons, traveling, and drawing.
